The stream continues on downstream behind you as you follow it to the source.
Occassionally a strange leaf or blossom swirls past or you see the flicker of a fish catch the sunlight from the shallows. Dragonflies lilt over the water in azure and crimson glory, catching midges.

Eventually you find an opening in the mountain face from which the water issues. Cautious because of the damp stome you follow the stream underground, it moves swiftly and, but for the odd burble as it strikes a stone or snag, silently.
Unlike most of the other watercourses you've encountered in your time in the Tir this one, though cool when you first began to follow it, is now steaming hot, vapour rises from the surface occassionally along with a slightly sulphorous and sometimes musky smell.
A path runs parallel to the flowing water one direction leads out into green dappled sunlight, the other leads upstream towards the mute roar of a waterfall.
