The meadow here, as you follow the stream, is beginning to be broken up by an occassional tall and slim tree. The ground is carpeted in thick verdant grasses and studded with wildflowers, the air is sweet with their fragrance and an occassional golden bee hums past.

As you continue further along the stream side the trees grow a little closer together until you are in a light woodland. Occassional clumps of bracken and ferns jut from the sheltered bases of the trunks. A gleam of colour amid the trees draws your attention and you realise you are standing in what appears to be an orchard!

Apparently natural, or at least as natural as is possible in the Tir, here there are all manner of fruit trees growing hap hazardly about. Many you cannot recognise but included in the natural orchard are cherries, plums, nectarines, apricots and apples. Some of the trees are in fruit, others in flower or bare. The breeze is laden with the perfume of ripening fruit.

Looking around you notice a dark shadow in the lee of a gnarled old apple tree. As if acknowledging your gaze the shadow moves and steps from the shelter of the tree, cautiously out into the open. Caern'toh, 'Legend'. A butterlily Unicorn. It is a slim legged unicorn. Glimmers of light play down his dark blue mane and he watches you with an uneasy ruby eye.

When you make no move towards it the small stallion relaxes and whickers.

"Sipha taku... I am Caern'toh."

It bobs it's head in acknowledgement as you return the greeting and give your own name then smiles sadly when you ask what species he is.

"I am 'Butterlily' unicorn, forgive me for my reserve earlier but waryness is one of the few things that have allowed my species to return from the brink of extinction." There is a rustle in the grass behind you and you turn to see the cause. When you turn back the small unicorn has gone. There is a soft chuckling sound from high in the apple tree.

Craning your head upwards you see a small mist grey dragon perched on one of the apple tree's twisted limbs. It's eyes sparkle with laughter.

*Quick is they.* it mind-chirrups to you, fluttering down to land on a branch close to you.

"Is named Quos. Grey wing-horse ask Quos to keep eye on Orchard. Gives Quos fish!" It scratches vigorously behind an ear ridge with a hind leg before launching itself into the sky and disappearing into the forest with a and leaving you to choose your way.

To the South East you can make out what appears to be a stone wall, part of which has a grape vine growing on it. The streams source lies ahead, somewhere to the South or you can always head North-East to the meadows.
