Again the boat slides forward across the submerged sand as soon as you have settled your weight into the seat. Without any warning the little craft suddenly speeds out to sea, skimming across the slight waves as it goes with a swallow like motion. The boat seems to know where it's going, taking a curved path back to the mainland to use the best of the currents. Cautiously you settle yourself on one of the wooden benches and hope the boat doesn't suddenly decide it wants to capsize itself. Looking over the side, beyond the lace white wake of the boats passing you can see silvery fish flitting through the foam after the algae and krill to the surface by the boat's passing. Sea birds swoop down to snatch up fish occassionly, keeping an eye on you with greedy, beady eyes. There is a Hhhwhafffing sound on the other side of the craft and you sit up to see what the source of the sound is. Lazily swimming along side, huffing a mist of water up into the air occasionally, is a pod of small almost lime green dolphins. As you listen you realise they are singing and in a very undolphin like manner. The sweet, beguiling voices call to you, inviting you into the water, to frolic and play with them. You are about to climb out of the boat to swim with the enchanting creatures when it gives a jerk and suddenly speeds up, throwing you back onto your seat. The dolphins song suddenly become harsher and almost angry, as if the singers were cajoling the boat. You glance back at the dolphins and see one with it's mouth open, hissing at the boat. Those AREN'T fish eating teeth. They are more remeniscent of some monstrous flesh eating horror. The creature turns it's gaze on you and you shudder at the glowin red eyes. These beautiful creatures are not as friendly as you first though... You begin to be grateful to whatever being spelled to boat to prevent passengers from being lost overboard. There is a sudden lurch and you almost fall over board, only to realise that the boat has grounded itself on the mainland and the siren dolphins have all retreated to the safer depths of the sea. You step down onto the sand with relief and turn to look back at the island. Not looking back for you know the dragon boat has already left. Near you on the beach, it's prow turned to the islands once more you can see the Unicorn headed boat, waiting for another passenger. From here you can head explore.
