The path you follow wends a way then opens out into a valley. Cassia bushes grow thickly from the scattered patches of soil between rocks. High up on the mountain side above you are surprised to see a window cut into the living rock, white gauze curtains billow out through it, caught in the breeze. | |
The old, volcanic rock bubbles down like water from the mountain's summit, a great stony cascade ever falling but never moving. There is a clearing of the throat nearby and you turn to see an elderly grey Pah'llock mare resting on a rock. Her mottled grey coat dusted with brilliant yellow cassia petals, like the stones around her, blending her into her surroundings. "Tu'sandah k'zarti." She whickers in a mellow voice. "If we have not met before my name is Lullago, Allani suggested that I might tell visitors a little more of the phenotypes used to describe a pah'llock's genotype when they are fostered out." She shakes the cassia petals from her mane and stiffly rises to her feet. "It is easy for those who have studied on the subject before but perhaps complex for those who haven't" She winks. "I shall try to explain to you using my own genotype." Lullago points her hoof a scroll of vellum tucked into a rock nook, so as to keep it out of the weather, you obediently fetch and unroll it for her. "Such marvellous things hands are." She smiles absently then clears her throat and attempts to explain... |

Her explanation concluded the aging grey Pah'llocki mare rises stiffly and stretches here leonine tail. "Come, you should head back to the plains while the suns light is still pleasant". She walks slowly across the turf and stone and down a passage way, leaving you to follow your footsteps back out to the beginning of the Tors or follow her. |
